Returns & Exchanges

30 days. No restocking fees. Unworn pieces in original packaging with all certificates and tags can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of receipt. The piece is inspected on arrival.

Exchanges are always available — even after 30 days, and even for credit toward a different style or custom piece. We never charge restocking fees on exchanges.

Custom pieces are non-returnable (we built it specifically for you) but always exchangeable for full credit toward another piece. This is true even years later.

How a return works: call 973-890-7000 or email us within 30 days for a return authorization number. Return shipping is paid by the customer — ship the piece back fully insured with signature required (never ship a ring uninsured). Pack the piece with its certificate and appraisal, and your refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of arrival. Prefer in person? Returns and exchanges are always welcome at the Wayne showroom.

Lifetime Warranty

Every Gallo piece is covered for life. The warranty includes:

• Prong retipping as needed — usually every few years for daily-wear engagement rings
• Stone tightening — checked at every inspection
• Polishing and refinishing — restores the original shine
• Rhodium replating for white gold pieces — usually every 12–24 months
• Free annual inspection — required by most insurance policies

What's not covered: loss, theft, damage from accidents. For that, we strongly recommend insuring the piece. Every Gallo purchase comes with an insurance-grade appraisal at full retail replacement value to make this easy.

Shipping

Jewelry: free insured shipping at any price, anywhere in the United States. Signature required at delivery, fully insured up to retail replacement value.

Watches: free insured shipping on watch orders of $1,000 and up. Watch orders under $1,000 ship for a flat $20.

Most in-stock pieces ship same or next business day. Custom pieces ship after final inspection — we'll send a tracking number the moment it leaves Wayne.

Financing

Pay over time with Shop Pay Installments at checkout — split into 4 interest-free payments, or choose monthly installments on larger orders. Checking your options won't affect your credit score.

Pre-qualification is a soft credit check — no impact on your credit score. Most engagement rings can be financed with payments starting around $200–$400/month depending on price and term.

We can run pre-qualification during your consultation, by phone, or you can apply directly when you check out online.

Trade-In Program

Trade in a previously-purchased Gallo piece toward a new one at full original retail value, applied as credit to your new purchase. The new piece must be at least 1.5× the original price.

For pieces purchased elsewhere, we offer competitive trade-in based on a current appraisal — typically 40–60% of fair market value depending on stone quality and metal weight.

Privacy

Terms of Service

Purchases are governed by New Jersey law. All sales include the warranty and policies described on this page. Pricing in US dollars. Prices may change without notice; orders are confirmed at the price quoted at checkout. Custom design quotes are valid for 14 days.
